What counts as a flash?
An hourly candle whose move was at least four times the spread of the previous 168 hourly moves (the Standard setting) and at least 1% in size. Settings lets you switch to 3σ or 5σ and a 2% minimum.
Where does the data come from?
Prices, candles and daily closes come from CoinGecko, in US dollars. Prices refresh about once a minute while the app is open; pull down on Flash or Markets to refresh sooner.
Why do I see “sample data”?
If the market data feed can't be reached, the app shows sample series so screens stay readable, and says so on each screen that uses them. They are replaced as soon as the connection returns.
How is a track valued?
A track starts at 100 when you save it and holds its saved weights from that moment: 100 × the sum of each weight × (price now ÷ price when saved).
Does the app trade or hold funds?
No. Optimal FLASH shows market data and calculations for study and comparison. It places no orders, holds no funds and does not connect to exchange accounts.
How do I remove my data?
Settings › Clear tracks and watchlist removes saved items. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device.
